2014 MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

Well, it was a wonderful Memorial Day parade, with the community and HATT showing our respect for all who have given themselves for us, and our country.

Our huge, huge thanks go to HATT Director and Army veteran Glenn Ryerson.

Glenn donated the use of his car and trailer, got the bales of straw for people to sit on, and then did the ultimate — a special display mounted on his Segway, consisting of three military uniforms from his family, and Glenn wearing his own uniform. (Photo above). All topped off with the American flag.

Then we saw more HATT military veterans: Jim Forcella, Army veteran, but dressed in his Civil War attire, along with Alan Wismer, Navy and Air National Guard veteran, and James Pease, Army veteran.

HATT member Patty Forcella dressed as Betsy Ross and actually was sewing an American flag.

Also in patriotic attire were HATT members Freddie Kaltenthaler and Shelly Wismer, with Shelly’s granddaughter enjoying the parade.

Thanks to all of you wonderful folks for paying tribute to our heroes.
